1. Article Marketing

One of the most important things you need to do is article marketing. Writing articles and submitting them to article directories is what you need to do to make it happen. You can either do the writing yourself or you can hire a ghostwriter to make it happen. Your ghostwriter may be willing to submit the written articles to directories or you may need to hire a Virtual Assistant if you don’t have time to do it yourself.

Article marketing promotes your business through the bio you include at the end of your article. You’ll also be able to promote your business through the profile page you set up on the article directories. Most directories offer the profile so you’ll need to make sure it’s always current and that your links work.

2. Social Networking

Another important task you need to do to promote your business is to use social networking. Social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook are valuable when used correctly to promote your business. It’s important to not only promote your business, but to communicate with others and offer tips to your followers. It’s important to build trust with your followers and that won’t happen if you only promote your business.

3. Blog

One last task you need to do regularly for your business is write for your blog. Your blog is a great way to share things about your business with your readers. These can be highlights about specific products or services, tips that will help your readers, and information about your field that will encourage your readers to use your business over someone else.

When you use these three tasks with your business , you’re sure to see growth. While it’s not going to be immediate, if you do it weekly at the least, you’ll see it happen over time. It’s important to find out how to do it correctly and these tips will help you to have a better understanding of how to do that so you can make it happen.

Create a One Time Offer OTO That Converts

February 13th, 2011

So they have found your squeeze page and they have opted in to your list. The very next page that they see after they have done this is an important one and it is a great time to put a one time offer to them. Great – but what do you sell to them and how do you create a one time offer that actually converts people into buyers?

Make sure your one time offer is relevant

One of the single biggest reasons why upsells or a one time offer fails to have a good conversion rate is that the offer is not related to what is being offered on the squeeze page. If your free gift on your squeeze page is about Twitter strategies then make sure your upsell or one time offer is related to it too. You know that they are interested in the subject otherwise they wouldn’t have chosen to subscribe.

Offer the ‘advanced’ version

Money Tree one time offer imageI really like this strategy and it is very effective. Give people a more in-depth or advanced version of the one time offer on your squeeze page. Let’s say your freebie is a report detailing how to set up a blog. A great up-sell would be an offer to do it for them. In return for payment you will upload and set up their blog for them (using the method in your report.) An upsell such as this can be really popular because people have got excited about the promises made on your squeeze page and now you’re telling them that if they buy from you they won’t even have to lift a finger to achieve. People are naturally lazy, so use it your advantage and make money.

Make sure you give more than you ask for in payment

Give people an outrageous one time offer. Make it such that they absolutely can’t refuse it. This can either be by offering a really low price or by piling on the value. Always give more than the amount you are asking for. Do this and not only will you have a one time offer that converts but you’ll get the relationship with your new subscriber off to a great start. If they buy your up-sell and LOVE it then they will be highly likely to buy from you again in the future when they receive offers as a subscriber to your list.

Get straight to the point

Many people are very used to one time offers. When they opt-in they are expecting to see one, so make sure the main point of your offer is really obvious. Use your headline to grab their attention. If they are interested they will read on a little to find out more about your one time offer.

Simple tips how to create a IM digital product

December 19th, 2010

It’s no secret that the best way to make money online over the long term is to create a product. Having your own products puts you in charge. It means you can recruit affiliates and have people selling for you 24 hours a day without you doing the leg work. Yes it’s possible to make money online without having to create a product (become an affiliate and start promoting one of the millions of products out there for a commission) but if you’re serious about your online business then you can’t afford not to create a product of your own.

Here are 4 easy ways to do it:

1.Create an Interview Product

This is probably one of the easiest ways to create a product and it’s something you can go out and do right now. Simply find someone in your niche that would be willing to answer a few questions – it’s not as hard as you’d think either when you consider that the interviewee will get free exposure and publicity from the interview – In fact most internet marketers will be delighted at being offered an interview. Simply get together on a Skype chat, do the interview and bammmm you have got a product. Transcribe it and you’ve also got a report!

2.Use PLR

Another great way to create a product is to use PLR. Find a good quality report that comes with private label rights, then go through it and add some of your own ideas and take out the parts you don’t like. Next, give it a fancy new name, get some graphics made, and write a new sales letter. It’s an extremely easy way to create a product.

3.Use Articles

If you’ve got PLR articles sitting around on your computer then put them to good use. Find 10-20 articles which are on the same subject but look at different aspects of it, then put them into a single report. I have made many products from doing this, yet it’s something that not many people are doing.

4.Find a Ghostwriter

If you want to create a product but don’t fancy doing any of it yourself then the answer is to find a ghostwriter. You can have a report or product created for you pretty cheaply if you look in the right places. If you can try to find a ghostwriter based on a recommendation. There are plenty of great ghostwriters out there, but equally there are a lot which are pretty poor. You could find yourself needing to rewrite the whole product in order to have something which is of a good enough standard to send out to people.
